The National Honor Society is an organization dedicated to recognizing students in grades eleven and twelve who have achieved excellence in scholarship, leadership, character and service. 

Each student selected for membership must first have a cumulative grade-point average of 88 or higher.  The student is then evaluated by a faculty council for involvement in activities, both in and out of school; for demonstrating leadership, both actual and potential; and for demonstrating character which exemplifies integrity, positive behavioral characteristics, cooperation and ethics.
