Letter to the Windsor Community

Our student handbook states, "Student possessed cell phones must be turned off and out of sight from the beginning of the school day until the end of the school day. If a cell phone goes off during class or if a student has his/her cell phone out during class, the phone will be confiscated immediately and will only be given back to the parent or guardian of the student".

This policy has been inconsistenly enforced. I sent a memo to all staff to read to the students that beginning immediately, teachers and staff are being directed to confiscate any cell phone that is out during the school day.

If you need to reach your son or daughter, parents or guardians should contact Windsor High School and we will get a message to him/her as soon as possible.
